A complete bowling performance and a captain’s knock from Henry Trebilcock have booked the U13s a place in the last eight of the Cornwall Cup.
Batting first on a slow Egloshayle wicket, the WCC U13s posted 142 from their 25 overs, with Trebilcock contributing an unbeaten 56. The bowling response was clinical: Jack Vague picked up 3-18 and Olivia Stevens chipped in with 2-12 as the visitors were bowled out for 89.
“Eight age groups, fourteen ECB coaches and a dressing room full of kids who love their cricket — this is what junior cricket should look like,” said Director of Junior Cricket Steve Vague.
