Our Story

One pitch. Six generations.

Wadebridge Cricket Club has played the same game, in the same spirit, on the same square for more than a century and a half.

Egloshayle Park

Our ground, our home.

Tucked into a bend of the Camel just outside Wadebridge, Egloshayle Park has hosted Cornwall Cricket League cricket, county fixtures, junior festivals and Sunday afternoons of the highest order.

It is run by volunteers, supported by sponsors and used every week from April to September by three senior sides, eight junior age groups and a thriving Women & Girls section.

What we stand for

Heritage, community, the right kind of competition.

Community first

Wadebridge cricket has always been a community endeavour. We exist for the players, parents, volunteers and supporters who keep showing up.

Open to everyone

Senior, junior, women and girls, beginner and county-level. Six pathways into the club, one welcome.

Played the right way

We play hard, support each other, and respect the opposition. The same standards apply across every age group.

Volunteer-run, always

From ground prep to the tea urn, every part of matchday is volunteer-led. Our committee, coaches and scorers make every weekend possible.

Committee

Meet the committee

Wadebridge CC is run by a committee of volunteers elected each year at the AGM. Committee details and contact information appear here.

Add committee names and roles in the WordPress dashboard. This placeholder will keep the layout intact until populated.
