Members, sponsors and friends packed the Egloshayle pavilion for a record-breaking summer fundraiser. The evening raised £4,200 — every penny going towards new artificial junior nets for the 2027 season.
The fundraiser was hosted by club president Mike Trebilcock and featured an auction, a guest speaker from Cornwall County Cricket Club, and the obligatory tea-and-pasty raffle.
“The junior section is the future of the club,” said Trebilcock. “Better nets means better coaching, more confident young players and a stronger pathway into senior cricket. Thank you to everyone who turned out.”
